Mohd Norzali Haji Mohd is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, at University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). He earned a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Toyama Maritime College, Japan, in 2000 and B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from Fukui University, Japan, in 2002 and 2004, respectively. In April 2015, he completed his PhD in the Department of Information Sciences and Biomedical Engineering at Kagoshima University, Japan. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM), a Professional Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologies (MBOT), and a Chartered Engineer with the IET, UK. He specialises in electronic engineering, focusing on information sciences, computer vision, biomedical engineering, and AI. His research often intersects with areas like sensor technology, signal processing, and AI applications in healthcare and engineering. He serves as the Treasurer for the IEEE Signal Processing Malaysia Society.
